今天，我們齊聚一堂，在這個值得紀念的日子，我心中充滿著感恩與歡喜。32歲，對個人而言，是志業漸明、擔當漸重的時刻；對朝陽而言，是從扎根到茁壯，從在地到國際的躍進歷程。
回顧32年辦學歷程，朝陽表現屢創佳績，學術能見度逐年提升，研究能量持續累積，國際合作日益擴展。我們連續9年進榜 UI 世界百大綠能大學，並連續2年榮登全球TOP 50；連續7年進榜世界大學影響力排名，更連續3年進榜英國QS世界大學永續排名，實踐永續績效卓越。朝陽已連續9年進榜英國泰晤士高等教育(THE)全球最佳大學排名，連續8年進榜亞洲地區最佳大學排名，而在學科排名上，不但首度進榜THE跨學科排名，亦連續8年進榜全球電腦科學領域排名，連續6年進榜全球工程領域排名，連續4年進榜全球商業與經濟領域排名，更首度進榜教育研究領域排名。此外，我們連續3年榮登英國QS世界大學排名，連續6年進榜QS亞洲大學排名；美國新聞與世界報導(U.S. News & World Report)亦連續2年名列全球最佳大學，連續3年進榜全球工程領域排名。32年來，朝陽從未停下腳步，教師積極投入教研工作，學生努力學習向上，行政團隊成熟專業地加速前進，海內外校友在各行各業中嶄露頭角。這些成果代表著「朝陽」二字在國際間被看見、受肯定，這些榮耀是屬於全體師生同仁與校友。
正逢32周年校慶，在此要向創辦人表達最誠摯的敬意。沒有當年高瞻遠矚的辦學理念，沒有堅持品質與理想的教育信念，就沒有今日的朝陽。朝陽辦學績效突飛猛進，任誰都感到無比光榮，朝陽人不管在校園學習或服務，都可以看到團體和個人的未來榮景。經過32周年校慶後，我們要更堅決秉持繼往開來的職志，共建創新創業課程、落實學生職場實踐、突破既有教研成果，維繫校務快速進步與永續經營。以勇敢為前進的力量，以踴躍為成長的動能，以永續為發展的方向。最後祝福與會貴賓、全體師生同仁

Distinguished guests, alumni, faculty, students, and friends of Chaoyang, welcome!
When an aircraft takes flight, it does not rise into the sky all at once. It begins with careful preparation, building speed, and the efforts of many people working together. Only then can it lift smoothly and continue its journey.
A university grows in much the same way. Progress happens step by step through vision, dedication, and collaboration.
As we celebrate Chaoyang’s 32nd anniversary, we reflect on a journey made possible by many dedicated people. Our faculty and staff work hard in teaching and research, our students pursue their dreams with determination, and our alumni and partners continue to support the growth of Chaoyang. Together, we have built a vibrant community that continues to grow stronger.
Today, Chaoyang is recognized both nationally and internationally. We are listed in major global rankings such as the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, the QS Sustainability Rankings, the U.S. News Best Global Universities Rankings, and the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings. We are also recognized in THE subject rankings, including Computer Science, Engineering, Business and Economics, Interdisciplinary Science, and Education Studies.
Our faculty members contribute to global research, our students excel in international competitions, our administrative team serves with professionalism, and our alumni continue to shine in many fields.
As we look to the future, three principles will guide Chaoyang in the years ahead: Courage, Engagement, and Sustainability.
First, courage. In times of rapid change, courage means being willing to explore new possibilities. For our faculty, it means innovation in teaching and research. For our students, it means the confidence to try new ideas and step beyond their comfort zones. For our administrative team, it means improving systems and creating new opportunities. Courage is the readiness to face challenges with preparation and purpose.
Second, engagement. A university grows stronger when people participate and contribute their ideas, talents, and energy. For our students, engagement means taking initiative in learning and making full use of the opportunities Chaoyang provides. For our faculty and staff, it means fulfilling their responsibilities while creating meaningful educational value. When we move from “I” to “we,” we build a stronger community where people support one another and grow together.
Third, sustainability. Sustainability is both a responsibility and a mission. Building a world-class university takes long-term effort and the support of our entire community. For our faculty and staff, it means continuing to strengthen their knowledge and skills. For our students, it means developing a commitment to lifelong learning. With continuous improvement, we can progress steadily in a changing world and fulfill our responsibility to society.
As we celebrate this milestone, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our founder, the Board of Trustees, our faculty and staff, students, alumni, and partners who have supported Chaoyang throughout the years.
Together, we will continue building an even brighter future for Chaoyang. Thank you.
